2. Booking & access to classes

  • ·You must complete our health screen and waiver before your first class.
  • ·Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your first class for a machine orientation.

3. Fees & payment

4. Cancellations & refunds

Our class cancellation window and refund approach are set out in the Cancellations & Refunds Policy. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply.

5. Studio rules & safety

For everyone’s safety, you agree to follow reasonable studio rules and staff instructions, including our Health & Safety guidelines and Code of Conduct. Grip socks are required on the reformer. We may refuse entry or ask you to leave if you’re unwell, intoxicated, or behaving in a way that risks the safety or comfort of others.

6. Health & assumption of risk

Reformer Pilates is physical exercise carrying inherent risks. You confirm you’re participating voluntarily and have disclosed any relevant health conditions, injuries or pregnancy. This is covered in detail in our Liability Waiver & Informed Consent.

7. Your privacy

We collect and handle your personal and health information in line with our Privacy Policy.

8. Photography & media

We sometimes photograph or film classes for social media and marketing. We’ll always ask before using an image in which you’re clearly identifiable. Let us know at any time if you’d prefer not to be captured — see the Code of Conduct.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and except for the consumer guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, Bloc Pilates is not liable for loss, injury or damage arising from your use of the studio where we’ve taken reasonable care. Our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee is limited to re-supplying the service or paying to have it re-supplied, where the law allows.

[LEGAL REVIEW] — have this liability clause and the waiver reviewed by a lawyer or your insurer before publishing. Exclusion-of-liability wording is tightly regulated in Australia and must sit within the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Website use & intellectual property

The Bloc Pilates name, logo, photography and site content are ours (or used with permission) and may not be reproduced without consent. Links to third-party services (like Momence and Instagram) are provided for convenience and are governed by their own terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page, with the “last updated” date above.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
