1. Our memberships
We currently offer the following options, all for 45-minute reformer Pilates classes:
- ·Weekly memberships — 1×, 2×, 3× or 4× classes per week ($35 / $55 / $75 / $85 per week), billed on an ongoing basis.
- ·Casual — $45 per single class, no ongoing commitment.
- ·1:1 Private — $70 per one-on-one session.
- ·Intro Offer — $85 for two weeks of unlimited classes, available once per new member.
- ·FIFO memberships — flexible options for fly-in-fly-out members, available on request.
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. We may change our prices or the classes offered from time to time — see clause 9.
2. Booking & payment (Momence)
Bookings, memberships and payments are handled through our booking platform, [Momence]. When you buy a membership you authorise recurring payments to be charged to your nominated card each billing cycle until the membership is cancelled in line with clause 6.
- ·Weekly memberships are billed [WEEKLY / FORTNIGHTLY] in advance.
- ·Your first payment is taken at sign-up; subsequent payments are taken automatically on your billing date.
- ·It is your responsibility to keep valid payment details on file.
3. Failed or declined payments
If a scheduled payment fails, we may re-attempt it and pause your ability to book classes until the account is up to date. If payment remains outstanding for [NUMBER] days we may suspend or cancel your membership. A dishonour fee of [$AMOUNT (or “no fee”)] may apply.
4. Class allocation & usage
- ·Weekly memberships give you a set number of classes each week (e.g. 2× = two classes per week).
- ·Unused classes [DO / DO NOT] roll over to the following week.
- ·Classes are subject to availability and must be booked in advance through Momence.
- ·Memberships are personal to you and can’t be shared or transferred unless we agree in writing.
5. Pausing / holding your membership
Life happens. You can put your membership on hold by giving us [NUMBER] days’ notice, for a minimum of [NUMBER] and a maximum of [NUMBER] weeks per [calendar year]. Holds must be requested in writing to hello@blocpilates.com.au.
6. Cooling-off period
You have a 7-day cooling-off period after signing up to a membership. If you cancel within those 7 days, the cancellation takes effect immediately and we’ll refund what you’ve paid, less the value of any classes you’ve already used. This is your right under the WA Fitness Industry Code.
7. Cancelling your membership
You can cancel at any time by giving us written notice — email hello@blocpilates.com.au. We’ll acknowledge your request within 7 days, and your membership and billing will end within 30 days of us receiving your notice (or sooner).
- ·Any prepaid membership term is capped at 12 months, in line with the WA Fitness Code.
- ·Your membership stays active and bookable until the cancellation takes effect.
- ·We don’t charge exit or termination fees [(confirm — the Code and unfair-contract-terms law limit these)].
- ·Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see clause 11).
8. Class cancellations, late cancels & no-shows
Because classes are small and spots are limited, our cancellation window matters. Full details are in our Cancellations & Refunds Policy. In short:
- ·Cancel or reschedule at least [12 / 24] hours before class and the class returns to your account.
- ·Cancel inside the window (a “late cancel”) or don’t show and the class is forfeited [/ a $AMOUNT fee applies].
9. Intro offer, casual & 1:1 terms
- ·The Intro Offer is for new members only, one per person, and runs for two weeks from first activation / first class.
- ·Casual classes and 1:1 sessions are paid per booking and are non-transferable.
- ·1:1 sessions cancelled inside [24] hours may be charged in full.
10. Changes to prices, classes & timetable
We may change class times, instructors, pricing or these terms. We’ll give you reasonable notice of any price increase to an ongoing membership — at least [NUMBER] days — and you can cancel before it takes effect if you don’t agree. Timetables may change during public holidays and studio closures.
11. Your consumer rights
Our services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If we fail to deliver a service with due care and skill, or as agreed, you may be entitled to a remedy. Our cancellation and refund terms don’t limit those rights. Nothing here requires us to refund for a simple change of mind.
12. Health, safety & liability
Reformer Pilates is physical exercise. Before your first class you’ll complete a health screen and agree to our Liability Waiver & Informed Consent. Please tell us about injuries, medical conditions or pregnancy so we can help you train safely. See also our Health & Safety guidelines.
13. Gift cards & vouchers
Any gift cards or vouchers are valid for [36 months (minimum under ACL)] from purchase, are not redeemable for cash, and are subject to these terms.
14. Complaints
If something isn’t right, tell us first — email hello@blocpilates.com.au and we’ll acknowledge your complaint within [NUMBER] days and work with you to resolve it. If we can’t resolve it together, you can contact Consumer Protection WA. We handle complaints in line with the WA Fitness Industry Code.
